Our Education Series + Blog

  • For Community

We engage with diverse communities at a variety of animal welfare and other social events throughout the bay area. Our goal at these events is to educate and to provide free health and wellness information

  • For Grantees

Pets provide a fundamental role in society and in the family and should be cared for when in need, regardless of the pet families’ financial circumstances.

  • For Pets

The bond between a pet and its owner can be one of the strongest relationships in a person’s life. Pets rely on their owners to keep them safe, fed and loved. In return, pets show loyalty, listen to problems, and provide unmatched companionship.

Community Events

Join us on April 26th at DogFest in San Francisco! We will be there to help wag some furry tails and share information (and SWAG!) about Sage Compassion for Animals. We will have one of our Veterinary board members on site to answer questions about pet care - FOR FREE!

DogFest is a celebration of dogs, families, and community. It’s also a charitable event that raises funds for McKinley Elementary – a small public school in the neighborhood. Starting 17 years ago, DogFest has grown into a beloved San Francisco tradition with thousands of supporters and hundreds of businesses participating.

The event takes place at Deboce Park in San Francisco, from 11-3p.

More info about this free event can be found here. Hope to see you!
