Your Donation Saves Lives
The Power of the Human-Animal Bond!
Pets are family, companions, and healers. They comfort us, celebrate with us, and remind us of life's simple joys. They reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and improve mental health. In return, they ask for love, care, and playtime.
For many families, the rising cost of veterinary care means tough choices. No one should have to say goodbye to their furry friend due to financial constraints. That’s where we step in—helping low-income families afford critical veterinary care.
Your generosity makes our mission possible. Every gift helps turn hope into action, with 90% of every dollar donated going directly back into life-saving grants.
“We are so so grateful for all you have done to help us get the medical care Nova desperately needed”
Amanda, Nova’s “mom”
More Giving Options
Make a One-Time or Recurring Donation
Your gift helps us provide families with financial assistance for veterinary care to help companion animals in crisis and educate communities about ways to prevent and reduce illness. Give today to help us help others or set up a recurring monthly donation to help us all year long.
Make a Tribute or Celebrate a Special Day
Make a gift to celebrate, honor or give in memory of a beloved animal, friend or family member that will help animals and their families who are in need today. We will notify your honoree of your kindness.
To make a tribute, please check the box “I’d like to make this donation in honor of someone” on our donation form.
Planned Giving
Animals make all our lives better. By designating a gift through your will, you will help us now or in the future with our vision to create a community where everyone can have access to the health care and education to give their animals the best lives possible.
A planned gift may take the form of cash, securities, real estate or other property. In California, there is no restriction on the amount you may give through your will. Bequests are deductible from your taxable estate for Federal Estate Tax purposes. Contact your attorney or financial advisor for assistance.

Other Ways To Give
Donor Advised Funds (DAFs)
A Donor Advised Fund is a convenient way to make a charitable gift. If you choose to make your donation through a DAF, please contact us to let us know once your gift has been requested.
Donating Publicly Traded Stock
Donating appreciated stock may offer greater tax benefits. In many cases, your charitable income tax deduction is equal to the fair market value of the stock. If you have questions about donating stock or any other giving option, please contact Michelle Mascher, Development Director, at mmascher@sagec4a.org.
